This project transforms the upper part of the house through a carefully judged addition that makes full use of height, natural light and long views. The design increases the available accommodation while integrating bespoke joinery for storage, display and dedicated workspace.
The new room is finished in walnut and raw plaster, giving the interior warmth, texture and a sense of calm refinement. Lighting, sockets and fittings are carefully positioned to support the way the space is used and to maintain a clean, uncluttered character.
The project demonstrates how constrained urban sites can produce highly desirable living spaces when section, volume, orientation and material finish are handled with care.

A loft conversion that creates a new upper-level inhabitable space, stronger outlook and a more expansive relationship to the city beyond.
