The design sought to reimagine the ground floor of a traditional London Victorian terrace, with a singular, fluid space that feels bright and calm all year.

A calm and open rear side return extension shaped by light, water and a strong connection to the outside.

Slender coral-hued steel columns support a "floating" concrete roof, creating a weightless, open-plan volume that feels significantly larger than its urban footprint.
Polished concrete floors provide a seamless, hard-wearing surface that extends from the interior out to the patio, unified by tonal limestone paving. This continuity is a hallmark of our design approach, ensuring that the garden is not merely an "outside space" but an outdoor room of equal comfort.

At the site’s far end, a dedicated garden office serves as an architectural "bookend," providing a professional retreat detached from the main house. The result is 'quiet' comfort: open, serene and spatially rich.
